I'm blogging!? What?? OK. So here I am a little behind on the craze but not to set in my old ways not to try something new. It is a bit odd for me to write so freely and somewhat unpersonalized about what it happening in our life but I am doing it because I don't have enough time to sit down and write or call everyone or keep up with sending pics of Bo. So here goes...
It is shaping up to be a pretty busy summer for us. Bo has started a music class once a week at Gymboree. There are about 5 other kids in his class and they get to play with a lot of different percussion instruments....drums, sticks, maracas, etc. I think he likes it so much because everyone gets to clap after everything they do. Very cute! I tell you what though, 45 minutes of 1 and 2 year olds beating sticks together to a hoppy frog song is about all I can take!
We have also enrolled him into a Gymnastics class that will begin June 3rd. I'm way excited for that just because I remember how much I loved gymnastics. Of course at 20 months old I'm sure he won't be busting a back handspring anytime soon! But I'll let you know when he does.
Matt and I have been doing what we do best....yard work, housework, and all things domestic. Bo is following in our working footsteps. He insists upon doing what we do. He helps unload the dishwasher, mow the lawn, water the plants, rake, vacuum, dust, and pick up dog poop! In fact it is a morning routine for him to go outside and poop hunt the back yard. And when he finds some he will squat and point at it like a little pointer dog. He will not move away from it until you have picked it up with the pooper scooper. It is as cute as it is annoying when you haven't even had a cup of coffee before your shoveling well you know.
We have also been hitting the gym regularly. Trying to get back in some sort of shape and health. I like to go to play a little b-ball. Reminds me of the good 'ol days back in the Beave. It is amazing how much better you feel in general when you exercise!
We are looking forward to the nice long Memorial weekend. We will be spending it here in OKC. I think some bowling and grilling is in the works. Nothing like last Memorial weekend spent at Arcadia Lake skiing in a monsoon!
Well for now, this is all I have time to type so I will leave some pictures and catch back up soon! Thanks for reading!
Living in favorable and non-favorable situations is called PART of LIVING, but smiling in all those situations is called ART OF LIVING.
