Hey, Hey! Well we have made it through another year camping with my family at Fort Supply Lake. This year was a blast just like last year. However, Matt and I left Bo with his Granny and Grandpa Lawrence so Mom and Dad could get a little R & R. Well mainly for Matt since he worked 30 out of 31 days in July! Thanks hun for supporting your family!
Anywho back to the camping trip.....my family is well lets just say....a hoot. My mom, dad, stepdad, and all my brothers and sisters came with their families too. About twenty or so of us sweating it out in 105 degree temp. We did a lot of floating, swimming, eating, and well drinking.
I'm sure the rest of the campers around us were ready for us to sleep at night!! I've never attended any campout that was equipped like my family's with an outside television and karaoke machine and a whole slew of wannabe rockstars and singers. We burned the midnight oil both nights sitting around the camp table bellowing tunes from Kenny Chesney to Queen. We even had some scragglers from other campsites join us in our interesting festivities. It was awesome!
We danced, we sang, and we bonded our ties even deeper. We may be a somewhat strange and akward family but we are a unit. The older I get the more accepting and proud I become of where and who I came from. My family rocks!!!!
Families are like fudge - mostly sweet with a few nuts!

This week my dad was in town with us for a few days. He was there to see Bo hit his first golf ball and give a few instructions too. I think we might have a natural!
Golf, like the measles, should be caught young, for, if postponed to riper years, the results may be serious. ~P.G. Wodehouse, A Mixed Threesome, 1922
