Thanksgiving

Bo helped me make dessert and got to lick the bowl!!

Hey Everbody! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We had two great ones. The first was with Matt's side of the family. I spent the day before Thanksgiving helping his mom cook and prepare the food. I am so thankful to be able to spend this quality time with just her and I doing things for the people we love.

Thanksgiving day we met all the family out there and had a great time. There was tons of food! Uncle Danny taught bo to moonwalk....crotch grab and all. That was hilarious and I didn't get it on video this time but I will at Christmas because it is worth watching!

Friday we headed out to my mom's house to stay the weekend. Bo has a cousin, Asacia, who is four days younger than him and she got to stay the whole weekend with us as well. They had a blast! Here is a pic of them in the tub together...

We had our Thanksgiving dinner Saturday afternoon. Again there was tons of food and desserts! I think Matt and I together gained a large cat's worth of weight!

Here are a few Thanksgiving quotes I like:

Thanksgiving is America's national chow-down feast, the one occasion each year when gluttony becomes a patriotic duty. ~Michael Dresser

Coexistence: what the farmer does with the turkey - until Thanksgiving. ~Mike Connolly

Thanksgiving, man. Not a good day to be my pants. ~Kevin James

May your stuffing be tasty. May your turkey plump. May your potatoes and gravy have nary a lump. May your yams be delicious and your pies take the prize. And may your Thanksgiving dinner stay off your thighs!~Author Unknown

It is always so grounding to go back home with my family. Things are much simpler there than here in the city. We will be headed back for Christmas and we can't wait. Matt will hopefully get to go deer hunting with some of my family this next time!

This was the trampoline full of leaves before we had a chance to suck them all out. Bo didn't mind it though as you can see.....

Today is Matt's 28th birthday! He is working all day and has a fire department meeting tonight. Birthday's just aren't the same as when you're a kid....he probably would have forgotten that it was today had I not reminded him. Happy Birthday Honey! I love you hope you have a great day despite the fact that your almost thirty! ;)

I will write again after Christmas with new pics and videos. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! 2009 can you belive it?!
