January and February Events

So I am cleaning house today listening to, what else, but the 80's music channel....when my favorite song comes on. I drop my scrubber, hit the volume button, and start dancing. In rushes Bo...sees Mom crazily moving around the living room and decides to show me how it is really done! I grabbed the camera and caught the above moves for his future girlfriends and you to enjoy!

Other than busting moves, we have had a pretty eventful 2009 so far. The second week in January we went to Dallas to see Matt's dad, brother, and sister-in-law. We stayed one night in the Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine, TX. It was really cool! They have a huge indoor water park! The water was a bit chilly but Bo braved it and had a blast in the kiddie part. We got to spend time with Dan, Matt's dad, and his significant other, Peggy. We also got to go to Danny and Lina's apartment in downtown Dallas. They live on the 25th floor of a highrise with a magnificent view of the downtown area. We spent a few hours playing Rock Band....I love that game...I can't own it because I would be addicted to it!

Bo started attending a preschool called Foundations at the beginning of January. The folks that own and operate it are fantastic. It is a family; mom, dad, and daughter who run the school. Mel and Dan even went to grade school and high school with the dad, Gary. So it is nice to have a place where he can go and get to interact with other kids and be taken care of so well. It is allowing me to work more, which in this economy is always needed! Plus he loves it and loves to talk about school and his PaPa G, Gary, who is there helping with the kids throughout the day. Below is a picture of Bo doing silly dances with the kids at school.

The next weekend we went with Mom and Steve to our first OKC Thunder basketball game. That was a blast! I am so glad we have our own team. Matt and I have been following them religiously since that game in which we smoked the Detroit Pistons.

The next week the Walk with the Dinosaurs came to town and we took Bo to see the show. The first part was scary for a small child. Man those things were so realistic, big, and LOUD! Bo sat in my lap the entire time. He did better after the intermission and was clapping and cheering for the "Cool Growls". That is his own words for the dinosaurs....Cool Growls, Big Growls, Mama Growls, Daddy Growls, BeBe Growls, Tee and Gee Gee Growls....oh and a Sissy Growl. What a goob! He has been obsessed with Growls ever since then. Below are some pictures of that night.....we didn't get any pics of the Cool Growls because they discouraged the camera flashes.

So I just sold my Tahoe a couple of weeks ago and got a Pontiac Vibe to replace it.....and I have to say that I actually like the Vibe better then my Tahoe. It's a really cute, small, and most of all fuel efficient vehicle! Such a better car to have to pay for too! So woohoo for me.

Well that is all I have time to write about right now...have to get back to the scrubbing! Thank you all for reading and I hope you had a wonderful Valentine's Day!!
